Hey, it’s been so long since I last spoke to you all and as the title suggests…change is afoot at The Lady Saddler, which is why I am here.
Firstly…Happy New Year!!! [Pinch, Punch, First of the Month! 👊 lol ]
It is the first day of a New Year and a new decade no less…how exciting!
Did you have a wonderful Christmas and now recovering from all the festivities the Christmas and New Year holiday brings?
My Christmas was very restful; spending time with the family and close friends, eating and drinking far too much and sleeping more than usual; I call that a bonus though, don’t you?!

Taking A Break
Some of you may remember that back in December I announced on my social media that I was taking an impromptu break. (If you want to catch up on this news then feel free to click here.)
At the time I was worried it would have a negative effect on The Lady Saddler but instead, it was a really proactive thing to do.
It forced me to stop what I was doing, take stock of what I had (and have) and made me think about where I want to be heading.
I have to say ‘thank you‘ to those of you who took the time to send me a message asking after my health or check in on me to see if I was alright; it really was lovely knowing so many of you cared about what was happening.
This quote certainly describes how I have been living my life in 2019. Can you relate to it too?
I was rushing about like a blue-arsed fly so much that I became more forgetful, more lethargic, more angry and less like the real me; my mind was on constant overload that I just couldn’t keep up anymore.
By taking the break I was able to rethink about a number of aspects of my lifestyle that were not working efficiently, one of those areas in particular was the business.
During the last 12 months, I have been rapidly building the business in a direction that doesn’t really make me happy, so I needed to make a change.
New Beginnings
This year, I am going to change this and with any luck, I will succeed beyond my wildest dreams.
I won’t be spilling the beans just yet though, as I still have a lot to get done in preparation, but definitely watch this space 🙂
Discontinued Stock
In the meantime, I have decided to sell off some of the leather items I made last year or for my Saddler exams that are either surplus to requirements or simply discontinued.
All sale items will be made available from today (1st January) until the 31st January 2020 with up to 75% discount.
Not because they are worth any less but mainly because a) I need to make some room in my studio and b) recoup some money quickly so I can reinvest it back into the business asap.
