Enville Village Show 2018

Enville Village Show 2018

At Enville Show Again Following on from last years successful launch, it was only natural to display my leatherwork again this year at the Enville Show. A fabulous day was had by all, and it was very humbling to hear that some people recognised me from my Facebook page. Brushing Boots Repair A lady, who had noticed I had checked in, via Facebook, even brought a pair of brushing boots with her for me to repair. She went for a wander around the show and a coffee with her partner, whilst I repaired her boots. There is always plenty to see and do for all of the family at the Enville show and thankfully the weather held out for us. Thank you It was lovely to see so many of you visit our stand, saying hi and grabbing a business card. Just a reminder, that some of the items displayed on the stand during the day are now for sale and available via the online shop. ...

Spring Craft Fair 2018

Spring Craft Fair 2018

Craft Fair Sunday's are usually a day of rest for me and a time to catch up with the family before the working week starts again on a Monday, but today we had a table at a spring craft fair not too far from home. Networking Group A year or so ago I joined a free networking group called Networking Mummies (Wolverhampton) or NMW for short. Initially, I met them online via their Facebook group but eventually when my day job allowed it I attended a couple of their meetings that took place at a local hotel. The group membership is mainly of women who have their own business as well as juggling a full-time career and/or children. The group arranges seasonal events for the members to take part in where we can sell our wares or showcase our business service, whichever is most appropriate for us. Bantock Park The Spring Craft Fair was taking place at Bantock Park in Wolverhampton and is the first...

Trade Stand at the Halesowen & Hagley Horse Show

Trade Stand On Sunday (17th September) I had a trade stand at the Halesowen & Hagley Horse Show in Romsley, West Midlands. It's a local farmers country show where a successful Horse Show is also undertaken. The weather was on our side, we met some lovely people, watched some excellent displays and sold some items. Thank you Thank you to all the organisers and volunteers, they did a grand job of getting everyone in and out of the fields, following the downpour the night before. I look forward to having a trade stand at next year's show. Online Shop Most of the items are available for sale and can be found by clicking here where you will be directed to my Online shop. ...

My First Event

My First Event

If you follow me via social media you will have seen already that last Monday (28th August 2017) I launched a pop-up workshop/stand at my first event, my local village show. Making Myself Known I've not purposely gone out my way to advertise my services very local as I was just starting out and chose to hit the equestrian market specifically and target market via social media instead. After Monday's experience however, I have realised that I have not made myself known in my local area enough. "How on earth can I make a success of this business if I don't even advertise in my local villages!?" If you missed this first event then don't worry because there are more coming up soon. The Stand My pop-up stand was a success! I hadn't planned to sell much, although I did sell a couple of items which covered what I had spent to register the stand at the show, so that was a win-win result. I had made...
