Enville Village Show Stand

On Bank Holiday Monday, (just gone), I took the Lady Saddler stand to the Enville Village show.

“I have an affinity with this show”

It is the village in which we live and so not only do I love to give them my support, it’s also where I launched the business’ first trade stand in 2017 and so I have an affinity with this show.

All Things Western

Every year there is a theme to the show. This year it was all things western and we were encouraged to dress as a cowboy or girl.

In the rush to get everything completed on time I forgot the dress code. However, it was great to see some people had put on their checked shirts, cowboy boots and/or hats.

***Note to oneself – remember the dress code next year. lol :-)***

Busy Day

The weather was glorious, all day; in fact a little too warm at one point but thankfully the Gazebo gave us some shade.

I was so busy throughout the day that I didn’t even get out to explore. However, I could see from where we were situated that there was plenty going on for all the family.

Things To Do

Every year there is always loads to see and do.

My family particularly love the vintage vehicles section; the famous Enville Ale stand (just hubby and I, may I add); the children’s activities; the cake tent (always a must have on show day) as well as the fun dog show.

There was a main arena with activities going on throughout the day; a show tent where people could enter their vegetables, craft items or best bakes to be judged for prizes; as well as numerous food and drink outlets, charity tombolas and even a Smart car was being raffled away by Prestwood Garage.

Networking

My stand was particularly busy this year. I got to meet a whole load of new people, as well as some customers, friends and followers, whom came up to see me and congratulate me on my achievements this year.

As usual, I take a mini workbench and make or repair items whilst there.

I sold out of all the belts I took and the stirrup keyrings were very popular again this year.

Dog Show

Every year my children love to enter the dog show, and this year was no different.

My daughter entered our Jack Russell, Belle, into the ‘Prettiest Bitch’ class and our unkempt Lhasa Apso, Envie, into the ‘Scruffiest Dog’ class.

Needless to say they came 3rd in each class as neither of them are particularly pretty or scruffy but it was a something our daughter enjoys, so why not 🙂

So, all in all it was another successful day at the Enville Village show, I can’t wait to see everyone again at next years event.
