Back in July, I was asked to make a ‘good luck’ gift in the form of black diamanté spur straps for an up and coming young dressage rider.
These are what we came up with:
A GIFT
These are a gift for Robyn Walker who was due to compete in the Advanced Medium dressage competition at Sheepgate Byrds on 21st August 2017, riding the coloured gelding, Master Merlin.
She went on to take the Under 25 Reserve National Champion title.
On 25th August 2017, Robyn, riding another of her rides Uthopia Black Pearl (or ‘Perfect Pearly’ as he is known at home), competed in the Sheepgate Under 25’s Novice Freestyle to Music (2002) class and came 2nd, missing the top spot by just 1 point.
What a perfect performance that was.
Here is a stunning close-up shot of Robyn wearing her new black diamanté spur straps:
It’s a proud moment for me to see my very own handmade black diamanté spur straps competing at such a high level with three fabulous future dressage stars.
If you would like to find out more about Robyn and these gorgeous horses then pop on over to her website and/or facebook page and follow her.
They are certainly a team to look out for:
